Suraksha Tanzania [STZ] is an Emergency Response Team made of dedicated youths who prepare for and respond to any emergency incident such as a natural disaster or incidences that disturb the peace in the society. Members are trained in various aspects of the response, like medical emergency/first aid or disaster relief operations.

STZ is headed by a Commander and led by 3 Captains and is an autonomous body of The Hindu Council Of Tanzania under direct command of the appointed Convenor.

STZ also organizes Navratri Security & Traffic and Sharad Utsav as their annual fund raising events.
